Achieving and Growing Together
To ensure the safety of staff and ‘key worker’ families it is paramount that we limit access to our school, and that those who do attend adhere to our new safety measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19 spreading.
Please only attend Purley Nursery if you are dropping off or collecting a child accessing our 'key worker' provision.
The School Office remains closed to visitors, but can accept post, telephone calls and are able to respond to emails Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm.
I appreciate that children who are not from key worker or vulnerable families and younger children will be very disappointed at not being able to return to Purley Nursery School, and as a team we share that disappointment. However, we have a duty to ensure that both children and staff remain as safe as possible under the current crisis which is still ongoing and affecting the lives of many people.
Purley Nursery School can no longer offer wraparound care to any child.
Purley Nursery cannot guarantee that they will be able to provide this service due to the risk of mixing children in both schools, possibly even in September.
Please contact the school office if you are unsure or need help in any way.
Our school has again been recognised as an "Outstanding" school by Ofsted. Our 2018 Ofsted Report can be read here
We are still taking applications for the September 2020 intake. We are not able to provide viewings of the nursery at this time but are happy to answer your questions by telephone or email.

At Purley Nursery School we provide a warm, stimulating, welcoming environment which gives a secure foundation for all children to become happy, confident, caring individuals who achieve personal success and develop a lifelong love of learning. We are very proud of our school and welcome all visitors.

In addition, from September 2017 we are pleased to be able to offer the additional 15 hours free childcare to parents who might be eligible (making a total of 30 hours of free childcare per week).
Some two year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks a year in the term following their second birthday. Further information is under the School Provision Tab.
