Federation with Christ Church Primary School

9 June 2017

The Federation between Purley Nursery School and Christ Church Primary School is now established and is known as the Purley Partnership Federation.   A federated governing body is now in place to oversee the governance of both schools.

30 Hours Offer of free Childcare

Purley Nursery School is pleased to be able to offer the new Government Funded 30 hours of free childcare.  Parents who think they might be eligible will need to check on the website, www.childcarechoices.gov.uk, the term before they wish to take up their entitlement.

At Purley Nursery School the 30 hours are offered Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 11.30 and 12.30 to 3.30pm term time only (with the option to pay for the lunch period and bring a packed lunch).  Breakfast and After School Club are also available at an additional charge.   Please come and visit us Monday to Thursday between 9.30 and 10.30 am or 1pm to 2.30 pm for further details.

Childcare Places

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education. In our School parents and carers can buy additional child-care sessions to provide a full-time place between 7.45am and 6.00pm (subject to availability).

We encourage parents to take up their education hours across the whole week wherever possible - 3 hours on a daily basis morning or afternoon - as we believe that this provides valuable continuity for children.

Parent Pay

You can pay your invoice for your additional sessions by ParentPay.  Please click here to access our Parent Pay page.
