Complaints procedure

Any complaints, or potential complaints, about the school can best be resolved informally with the Head of School or senior staff. If attempts to settle the complaint fail, then the complainant may decide to make a formal complaint. In this incidence, the complainant should set the complaint in writing and submit it to the Head of School.

The Head of School will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and conduct an investigation, communicating the outcome within 15 school days. If the outcome is not agreed, the complainant must make a complaint to the Governing Body within 10 days.

If the complainant is not satisfied with the outcome decided by the Governing Body, the complaint can be referred to the Local Authority within 6 months of the Governors' response.
